I just saw your part about ‘custom edits’
From what you have to 1.2mingus (don’t use a nightly on a production blog) there have been significant changes to lots of the code. Although there may be a temptation to leave various files that you have edited in place, this could well end up causing errors. This is particularly true with the index.
I don’t know how much you have edited, but I would take a full backup, the work through and replace your changes.
i am stuck with delta release coz i updated another blog to 1.2 and the waypath plugin failed on it 🙁 i have many more hacks on my own blog 🙁
just plain afraid to mess something thats working fine…
