Yes. Mostly the link and post categories as those tables have been murged now.
Template_Tags
But when I look at the files that have changed I see things like sidebar.php. Is that not a theme based file?
What theme are you using?
It is completely custom siriusbuzz.com
Okay then follow Upgrading WordPress procedures and then you may need to revise template tags as necessary (e.g. might need to use the template tag, wp_list_bookmarks()).
I may need to revise? Does that mean that I may not? You both mentioned template_tags but I don’t see any instructions on how/what needs to be changed when upgrading. Is there a place where I can find upgrading instructions?
I don’t understand why things that need to be updated are not listed in the upgrade instructions. If I click upgrade and the upgrade complete then why would I need to change anything else?
Why create custom themes and separate folders to house those themes if they need to be upgraded?
Anyone? I really would appreciate some direction on this issue.
I think what they were saying is that most of your theme SHOULD carry over, but one or two template tags may have been replaced. He/She was just providing you with a link to the template tags, in case.
You can see my point though right? What does “may” need to be replaced mean. How could one know where to start?
