Upgrade

Hi,

OK, because I was having a problem uploading images I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade to 2.8. I was hoping this issue had been resolved in the latest version.

I backed up my database etc following the detailed upgrade instructions but I seem to have got in to a mess.

So is it not possible just to delete the previous version of WP on the server and then just start afresh with 2.8.

There’s no data to be lost – it’s a brand new site with no posts or anything. I had only got as far as choosing a template and then when I got to the point of uploading images that’s when the fun began.

Is that possible or is that asking for trouble?

Basically I just want to start again with 2.8.
