Updated plugin, not working now | WordPress.org

Hi,
I’ve updated the plugin today and now my excerpts have reverted to the default WordPress excerpt(I think). Making changes in the advanced excerpt settings has no effect.

I’m using <?php the_excerpt(); ?> in my template file.

Any help is hugely appreciated.

Hi gingersoul,

Where are these excerpts breaking, i.e. which page on your site contains these excerpts?

e.g. front page, blog archive, single post, regular page, etc

Are both you able to try out a development version that I’ve been working on? It may / may not fix the problem but will get me a step further in understanding the problem.

Hi Chris,
I have excerpts on my homepage as well as individual posts. That plugin has fixed the ones on the homepage but not on posts.

Hi Chris,

I just deactivated and deleted the plugin and replaced it with the master file; I am still receiving the same error. I hope that helps you find the issue!
