Update to 3.0.3

    Once again I am invited to update BUT when I choose the automatic option, nothing happens.I left the page open for over 30 minutes!
    So, please can someone at WordPress tell m e how to do this? I am reluctant to do it manually becauise I have only just updated to the present 3.0.2 and the various backup systems on offer just do not work.
    So, please can anyone help me? I am at my wiot’s end!

    Are you referring to the dashboard update page?

    If you are, did you read the words on the page?

    I did the automatic update to 3.0.3 a few minutes ago. I didn’t see anything happening, but the words on the update page changed. There was a notification that the update had been completed.

    Well DOne! But I still cannot update here.
    It starts, but then fails after about 5 seconds to go any further. Has anyone got the answer?

    Try adding AddType x-mapp-php5 .php to the top of your WordPress .htaccess file.
