Update services testing

Is there a log file created somewhere that shows which pings were successful. I have added the suggested lists and each time it takes 3-4 minutes to do a post. Sometimes it does duplicate posting because of the time out on the pinging. If there was a log file, you could remove the offending URL and posting would happen faster.
