Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Ha! You crack me up. I just found the master file that you wrote of everything I’m supposed to do before freaking out. A day late and a dollar short!!

Anyway, my next question is…if I deactivate and then reactivate plugins, will that mess any of the customizations that I had done? Just wondering. Thanks so much for your help. Sorry about the post title (I read your post after I wrote this).

If the plugin is written well, you won’t lose any customizations by deactivating (you will *when* you deactivate it of course, but they’ll come back when you reactivate it). With that said, there’s no way I can guarantee that for all plugins, there are 44,163 in the free directory alone.

All I can guarantee is this is the best way to isolate the real problem.
