Update icon missing

    Hi!
    I’ve just recently noticed that the update icon (circular arrow thing followed by the number of updates) on the top left corner of my dashboard is now missing. I can’t see how many updates there are or if there’s any at all. At first I thought it’s probably because there’s nothing to be updated, but I just went on the website of the theme I’m running and the most recent version listed on the site suggested that my theme is now a version behind, which means there was a recent update but since no update icon was showing on my dashboard I missed the update. Please help!

    don’t panic! if things are running smoothly without the upgrade to the theme then just wait for the theme’s developers to push the update out and for wordpress to notice. if you’re feeling like you have to update then by all means do it manually but if there’s no upgrades icon showing on your site then everything’s up to date enough for wordpress not to have any issues.
