Update Focus to work with PHP 8.0?

    I am using PHP 8.0 and I noticed the Focus theme for WordPress is no longer letting me “Customize” the theme appearance.

    The “Customize” appearance works in PHP 7.4 but not in PHP 8.0.

    Will you be making an update to the Focus theme to maximize compatibility with PHP 8.0?

    Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, Focus is discontinued and no longer on the WordPress.org theme directory; the last release was in 2020. PHP 8 compatibility is likely a small custom development task. If you don’t have a developer to lend a hand you might consider a SiteOrigin Premium license; we can assign time there where we have the budget. Sorry we don’t have better news. We’ve repurposed our old photography theme Snapshot and are busy with development of a new version at the moment. I’ll log a suggestion to do the same with a video focussed theme in the near future.
