Same issue here. Thinking this might be a bug?
Seems to be affecting wp_list_pages but not wp_nav_menu in my case.
Not exactly a bug; but I didn’t anticipate how many sites would be out there that aren’t definining the class .screen-reader-text, despite it having been a standard class in WordPress since February 2015. I’ll probably have to add the class in another update. Annoying, since it’ll be duplicative for most themes, but necessary for a few.

We have multiple websites that this latest plugin update did not fix the “.screen-reader-text” issue. The following themes are still showing “current” on navigation items:

I checked a couple of your sites; I don’t see this on either site. Have you refreshed caches, if you have those?
