The new version v3.4 is using type="email" which is a HTML5 input type. This is not cross-browser compatible and is also prone to break styling (and it does) as css styles match on input[type=text].

yeah I agree normadize I recently realize that input[type=email] in contact form 7 seems css bug or something I can’t troubleshoot. I create a class that I want to add in the fields but nothing happen.
