follow this:
– Log on your wp admin control panel.
– get in tab option you’ll see the button ” Delete BLog”.
– Click on the link, stick on the checkbox ” I’m sure I want to permanently disable my blog, and I am aware I can never get it back or use….” then click “Delete my blog permantly”

Thanks. But, the installation (no longer there) is on a separate webspace (not at wordpress.com) and I have already deleted the folder into which I had installed.
So, should I reinstall wordpress into that folder again and do the process that you have mentioned? Any other method would be highly appreciated.

I deleted the file from the domain, inplace of deleting the blog, now the old blog link are also coming in the stat drop down.
What should i do to remove the blog URL from Stat Drop Down
