Uninstall and login problem

Hello,
I used PROTECT WP ADMIN.

I tried to transfer from remote to local my blog, but the home page of my blog was not accessible. It has reported the following error: “page is not available. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED”.

Whether i tried to login in http://localhost:8888/mioblog/wp-login.php and http://localhost:8888/mioblog/CustomString.

Then I have uninstalled the plugin, re-transferred the site in local, recreated the database on plesk and tried to access. STILL THE SAME ERROR.

In .sql file of my database, I still find some strings with my ex CustomString and the name of the plugin Wp Protect Admin.

Why?
In localhost I can’t access even more on wp-login.php

How can I do?
