under construction page

    hi,
    i am making a website for the first time. i have installed wordpress on the server and the dashboard is seen. but when i click on the blogs domain, it shows “this page is under construction” what am i doing wrong? please help?

    Check If you have place holder in your root like index.html

    Hi,

    I would actually like to see something similar ‘ie this page is under construction’ while i’m working on my site. Right now it shows the default theme with little on it (with the .com url)

    All i have done so far is install WP on the hosting server (and so all the WP files and folders are there). Which file do i need to move and where to so I get the ‘page under construction’ notice until i’m done with the site ?

    If you want simple way to do it is to install a plugin search
    under construction plugin in repository
