Hello, I’ve been trying to optimize my little photo site and finally took a look at the sizes of the thumbnails generated by NextGen Gallery. The thumbnails really are excessively large – like they are at least twice the size they could (should) be. I’ve scoured the web and even crossed my fingers and installed and ran the utterly useless (and probably dangerous) plugin NextGEN Gallery Image Optimizer.
My site is johnopolo.com and if you want an admin login I’ll send you one.
    Please assist here.
And thanks for an otherwise great plugin and lightbox.

@johnskliros – You appear to be using our Masonry display on your site and would be more than welcome to submit any questions or concerns to our Support team via your member’s area at http://nextgen-gallery.com/

As I am only seeing the one (Masonry) gallery, is this the one you are having trouble with its thumbnail sizes? The images used in the Masonry gallery are rendered from the originals and not the thumbnails so they could be “larger” by default. If this is a different issue please contact us directly.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
