An update of the All-In-One Event Calendar led to the plug-in being removed from our website. We reverted back to a previous time and was able to restore the plugin. But then updating failed twice. Go Daddy rep suggested contacting the plugin developer

  • I would suggest backing up your entire website and databases first — especially if you are dealing with Godaddy as your host.

Next, I suggest, if you are able to get an old version of the plugin to work, to export the events and save them to your computer. Do this by viewing the front end of your calendar, then scrolling to the bottom, then click the Subscribe button, then Right-Mouse click (or double click for Mac) on “Add to Timely Calendar” and save your events (it will be in the form of .ICS).

Re-install the latest version of our All-In-One Event Calendar and import your events by going to your Dashboard > Events > Import Feeds > CSV tab > click on the [Choose File] button, select your downloaded .ics file, then click on the [Submit Events] button.

    Plugin fails to install

Please provide more information about how the plugin fails to install, any error messages you get, your hosting provider, your hosting OS, the version of the plugin or anything that can help to fix your issue.

Similar here. Also had the “disappearing plugin” problem after it updated. The “all-in-one-event-calendar” directory is still there, but it is empty.
Have not yet tried to restore previous version – will it reinstate the existing calendar events?

We re-installed the plugin and, as if by magic, the event calendar was back, complete with previous event data!

Thankyou aljono. It may have been an installation glitch on your end. The data in the database would not be affected.

No magic here, however, I have resolved the issue and restored website events calendar with a Google Calendar embed.
