• I have been unable to update or install some plugins since I upgraded to 2.7.

Now I am unable to upgrade to 2.7.1.

I am getting the following error message when trying to upgrade WP and most of the plugins. Some of the plugins do install while others give the same error message with a different line number.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 798115 bytes) in /home1/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1027

Your server is running out of memory for the PHP process. Increase the memory available to PHP. Might have to ask your host how to do that.

    Hi,

To increase the PHP memory you can use custom php.ini file and modify it upon your requirement….

You can use the plugin for that too.

    Thanks,

Thanks. I should see if the host can do it since, except for a little HTML, my programming skills have more than 30 years of rust on them.
