Hi Meryl,
Thank you for the update
Raul for the support desk has been very helpful. It turns out it was two conflicting problems in my case.
I had a previous countdown plugin which was still active and was interfering and also my style name had spaces in it.
So have a look if you have any other countdown plugins, deactivate and delete them and don’t have any spaces in your style name.
Here’s the countdown clock up and running.
Raul was very helpful indeed. Give him an email if you’re still stuck.
On my website the timer does show in the sidebar, using a widget, but it won’t show up on posts or pages: when I hit the button in the kitchen sink, I get a large popup, but no text, only white screen.
I haven’t used Uji Countdown before.
I’m using
Wordpress 4.1.1.
theme Hueman
Uji countdown 2.0.3
Hope that there will be a solution shortly.
Uji Countdown Pro 2.0.3 customer.
Using standard WP 4.1.1 with Twenty Thirteen theme. No other countdown timers installed.
Seems to work fine using Chrome but not Internet Explorer. Here is the shortcode being used:
[ujicountdown id=”default1″ expire=”2015/02/25 01:00″ hide=”” url=”” subscr=””]
For testing purposes, it is the only thing on the page.
Just realized the timer works/fails when toggling IE Compatibility mode. I need this to work for both.
Thanks MerylS!
MarionFW check to have only one countdown on the same page. Widget and shortcode on the same page is not working in the free version.
nocleats tested and works for IE7 and up for the classic style not for the circular.
I used the shortcode that nocleats posted, and this works fine. But it only works thanks to this shortcode that I paste into the post: I still get a blank pop up page when using the icon in the kitchen sink (Tiny MCE) for adding the countdown to a page or post.
As I only need one countdown, that is no problem for me, but I don’t think thats what the developper meant to happen.
Fixed in version 2.0.4 with the new shortcodes generator.
