    I run a site with the REHub Theme and have Egg Content autoblogging pages with products I offer. I have the settings to make my first image the “featured image” and push those URLs to social media by using Hootsuite (via pulls from category RSS feeds). When I push the URL to Pintrest and Facebook the featured image is pulled into the post and looks great. However in Twitter the featured images do not post in a twitter card – I just get the Ow.ly or twitpic URL.

    I’ve checked the plugin Yoast to ensure I have and the twitter card meta on and the image for summary card selected. I also have WP Automatic running which publishes the twitter cards without any issue so I know it’s not Yoast issue as far as I can tell. This started about two weeks (first noticed around 25 Sept or shortly before) and wondered if that was about the time 2.7.0 update came out? Even when I post directly to twitter from an egg content autoblogged URL the card for twitter is not seen. Any help would be great! Thanks
