In the default Twenty Twelve theme, there’s a button that only appears in the mobile view that toggles the menu. I don’t see that button on your site, though. Did someone remove it?

No, I’m the only one who works on this site
so I have to search that button….
I noticed you’re using a child theme; do you have a copy of header.php in the child theme’s folder? A quick fix would be to download the theme’s ZIP file, extract the files, and then upload header.php to the appropriate folder.

well, strange is that i have the site also local op my pc and there i see the menu button in the mobile version. And both header.php files are the same…
