On my homepage http://www.jochenwenz.de I mentioned a problem with the sidebar and the footer on a single page. It is always below the “white window” and not inside it. I do not find a solution nor a hint in this forums.

I am not that professional in PHP, so please help.

    Thanks a lot.

    Joe

  • I can’t see any obvious problems using Firefox 3.6.12 or IE8.

    Addtional note:

This only happens when I am logged in!?!?!?

I am using the Twenty Ten theme “as is” and only changed the logo itself plus the menu height from 38 to 24.

Sample picture can be found here: http://www.jochenwenz.de/div/single.jpg

    Thanx for helping.

Try undoing your menu width changes.

Sorry, it’s the height! I apologize.

ATM I am comparing the code of the page

    1. logged in

    <li><a href="http://www.jochenwenz.de/wp-admin/">Admin</a></li> <li><a href="http://www.jochenwenz.de/wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=01703d0c3f">Abmelden</a></li>

    2. logged out

    <li><a href="http://www.jochenwenz.de/wp-login.php">Anmelden</a></li>

In which theme file can this be found in source code?

Problem disappears when I dont allow comments…

Then there’s an issue with your comments CSS.

    “Your”?

I use the original theme file!

Could someone check if this behaviour is the same on her/his homepage, using TwentyTen?

    Thanx

No problems for me using an unmodified version of Twenty Ten. Your copy of Twenty Ten has been modified.

Were you aware that your customisations will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme? For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.
