trouble getting pages posted

    hi:

    i have tried to create a static page (for an about me page) and can’t get it to work. here is what i do:

    1. click the “write” tab and then the “write page” subtab.
    2. fill in the title bar and the text section.
    3. hit publish (i am the administrator and have publishing rights)
    4. click view page.

    the site takes me to a page that has all the blog entries but not this about me page on it. plus, the blog entries normally have photos by them (of the author, depending on which author) and this is not on this page.

    so what am i doing wrong?

    Do you have some kind of custom code in your theme that is doing a “query_posts”?

    If your theme is not coded correctly, you can get unusual results like you’re describing.
