Translations do not working

    Hi nudny,

    The Russian translation should be included in the plugin already, it is located at the following location.

    /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/languages/mailchimp-for-wp-ru_RU.po

    Is this file not correctly loaded for you? If so, can you please confirm if the file exists?

    Hi, Danny!

    Yes, this file exist and correctly. (Tried many times on a few sites).

    And here you can see russian WP menu and eng plugin without translate.

    Just a note: *.po file is not needed for WP, only *.mo is required. On that screehshot I don’t see ru_RU.mo – so the plugin is not translated into Russian. So you need to download a mo file or generate it by yourself.

    I don’t know anything about generating .po and .mo files.
    So, what can you say about this Danny? What i need to do to get a russian version of plugin? Maybe you can you fix it in next update?

    Hey, sorry for the late reply but we have just fixed this in the current version of the plugin (and will keep this up-to-date in all future versions).

    You can get the fix by simply re-downloading the plugin from WordPress.org.
