• I tried the free and pro versions, but I always had the same problem: only the title and the first paragraph of the blog were translated in Gutenberg. Then there is an image, and the text continues, but it is not translated.

What could be the reason for this?

I am using the free version of Polytrans.

    Thank you

Sorry, I meant the free version of Polylang, of course.

If you are currently this developer’s customer (you have the pro version) they can’t support customers here.

For pro or customer support, please contact the developer on their site. This includes pre-sales information.

As the developer is aware, customers may not be supported on this site.

    Could you let me know:

    1. Which AI model you’re using for translations?
    2. What specific problems you’ve encountered when translating?
    3. What type of content you’re translating (e.g., pages, posts, products, etc.)?
    4. Are you using any page builder (like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)?

This’ll help me understand your setup better and see how we can improve the translation workflow.

Which AI model do you use for translations?

DeepL API Pro for translations from German to English

What specific problems did you encounter during translation?

In Gutenberg, only the title and the first paragraph of a longer text were translated. The rest of the text in further paragraphs below an image was not translated.

What type of content do you translate (e.g., pages, posts, products, etc.)?

It is a blog post (https://peakp.group/2025/10/27/it-und-cyber-security-ein-wirtschaftlicher-faktor-fuer-unternehmen/)

Do you use a page builder (such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)?

I only use Gutenberg with the “Spectra One” theme.

    Thank you for your feedback.

@zristian Please do not email the developer access to your site. They will be banned if they accept that.

@almhdy You need to right now explain that you will not seek login to any user’s site. Please take this serriously.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    • Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
    • Ask for a link to the http://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com log of the user’s web server error log.
    • Ask the user to create and post a link to their phpinfo(); output.
    • Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
    • Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again (the Health Check plugin can do this without impacting any site visitors).
    • Ask the user for the step-by-step directions on how they can reproduce the problem.

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.

    Thank you for the clarification.

I understand the forum policy and I confirm that I will not request or accept login, admin, or server access from users on the WordPress.org forums.

Going forward, I’ll provide support publicly here using the recommended debugging and troubleshooting methods, and will direct paying customers to my official support channels when applicable.

I appreciate the explanation and will follow these guidelines strictly.
