Hey @olenazhytnytska,
Currently, translation files cannot be loaded from “wp-content/languages/plugins/”. This functionality however is on our development list and will be available in the next update.
To load the translation files, please do the following:
1. Rename your file to “slicewp-ru_RU.po”.
2. Navigate to your active theme’s folder: “wp-content/plugins/themes/#your_active_theme#/”
3. Here, create a new folder named “slicewp-translations”.
4. Put the translation file in this new folder.
Please note that if you update your theme, you may lose the translation file.
However, once we release the new update, you will be able to put the file in “wp-content/languages/plugins/”, which isn’t susceptible to be overwritten by updates.
Please try it out and let me know how it goes.
Thank you and best wishes,
Mihai

I followed your instructions, but it didn’t help. Please let me know what else can be done.
Hey @olenazhytnytska,
Hmm… truthfully, I’m not exactly sure what may be going wrong.
Can you please open a support ticket on our website (here: https://slicewp.com/contact/) and send a link to the translation file so I can test it out and see how it works?
I may be able to offer more details once I test the file and see what can be done.
Thank you and best wishes,
Mihai
