transfer wordpress.com to wordpress.org

I started out on wordpress.com upgraded to domain mapping so I could use the domain I just bought then realized to do anything you have to pay monthly fees and it isn’t as functional so I cancelled the domain mapping, received my money back because I did it the same day I bought it, and downloaded wordpress.org file. I uploaded the files last night, pointed my nameservers to my original webhosting service webhostingpad.com, got into the welcome screen and to my dashboard and I was working on it last night. Off and on instead of going to my website it goes to the error page: “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.” I’m confused how it’s connected with wordpress.com at all anymore considering I completely switched the nameservers to my webhost, last night I was adding/editing files through my webhost with ftp, and on my goddaddy manage account section it even shows the nameservers being for my webhost and not wordpress.com. Any help would be appreciated thanks a lot!
