Trackbacks – i think :)

    Hi

    In the Dashboard under incoming links – i am getting a bunch of sites linking to me [ Without permission ] via one or two of my articles which they duplicate with a link back to my site . Are these trackbacks ? – they are disabled – and are they using my site to gain better rankings ?

    Anything i can do to block this kind of activity ?

    Those are sites that have links to your site in their articles. Not to be confused with trackbacks.

    Not sure how you’re going to block sites putting links to other sites. That’s kinda how the web works. And yeah, if they’re splog sites they’re probably hoping from some google juice.

    And if they’re duplicating your content, go after ’em. That’s entirely different.
