no, nothing is too large.
It would be great if you stuck to a uniform image size though. Maybe pick a big size and a little size, and keep all your pictures either one size or the other.
Having different sized pictures all over the place makes a blog look like a ‘special needs’ kid’s scrapbook.
I think that’s also the reason your sidebar doesn’t fit on the side.
To make your sidebar stay on the side, below the content div and the sidebar div, use a clearing div, like <div class="clear"></div> In your stylesheet:
.clear {
width: 100%;
clear: both;
}
I’m running Safari on a Mac and nothing looks too big.
Here are my suggestions:
Change the body typeface to a non-serif font, i.e. Arial, Helvetica.. The look of the two serif fonts together (courier and times roman) makes me cringe.
(BTW, did you pick courier bold for the header type face because of the Clifford name… you know, of course that this is the same typface and weight used on the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” books. I should know… my kids have a bunch.
Anyhoo…. The only other major recommendation would be to get a handle on how your images display. They are all over the place. Pick a thumbnail size and stick with it. And that pop-up viewer for the pics took F-o-r-e-v-e-r to load an image. Either the photos need to be resized smaller or the fact that I’m in Asia may have something to do with it.
Oh.. and there is a big empty sidebar to the left.
Aside from that, everything is dandy.
