Title missing from Facebook Share Link

    Hello.
    I run a blog and I share links to posts on Facebook. For some reason when I’m sharing a link on Facebook now, The title to the blog post no longer comes up, instead,it is replaced the link to the Blog ex.(www.My Url.com). This is a recent problem and I don’t know if a plugin is causing this problem. The current plugins I use are the following. How can i fix this so that Facebook automatically picks up the Title of the Blog Post when i post the link?

    Okay well I solved this problem for myself. I deactivated all my Plugins and activated them one by one while trying to place links in Facebook. When I deactivated everything, the Title came up when i was sharing the links. I kept doing this as i reactivated each plugin one by one. The advertisement Management plugin was causing this and i don’t know why. For now it will be deactivated.

    Thanks for letting me know what you did. I’m having the same issue. Must be one of my plugins.

    UPDATE: Of course, now it’s not happening anymore. I swear it was happening for about two weeks!

    I had the same problem and was able to fix it by changing my doctype. It used to read:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

    For some reason this caused a problem with the Facebook Share button picking up the title and the description.

    I changed it to:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    and it works now.
