Hi Alessandro,
First – are you running the plugin in enlish – or in another language?
Some of our language packs have some issues that are causing problems withino the plugin.
I am currently working on a re-write of the plugin – which will infact resolve this long standing issue.
I am really working hard to get the new version out by the end of the month – but if you need it now you can download the latest stable copy from our github repo:
https://github.com/EvanHerman/timeline-express/tree/Refactor—v1.2
Alternatively, you can delete the ‘languages’ directory bundled with the plugin to resolve the issue with the version that you have installed.
Thanks,
Evan
Hi Evan,
many thanks for your message.
The WordPress Language is Italian, is it the problem? Can I solve it simply setting the language to English?
Thanks,
Alessandro
Hey Alessandro,
You can either set the language of your site to english (which will effect the entire site) – or open up the plugin root (wp-content/plugins/timeline-express/) and delete the ‘languages’ folder (or the individual .po/.mo files contained in that languages directory.
That should get things up and running, and prevent the issue you are currently facing.
Evan
This should now be resolved in version 1.2. There is no AJAX settings save, things are all done now via a page load. Even if there is a JS error on the page, things should work fine.
If you’d like to help get things translated into your native language, feel free to hop in on GlotPress so everyone on WordPress can benefit from your translations:

Thanks,
Evan
