Time out on plugin installation

    Hi Everyone,

    I’ve just installed WordPress through Fantasia. Now I am trying to add a plugin (google sitemaps) its taking ages to load and then sending me to a 504 Gateway Time-out page.

    Does anyone have any advise as to whats causing the issue?

    Try to manually upload the plugin. A timeout is a server problem, though. You may need to ask your host for help.

    Thanks it worked this time! Could it be because my site wasn’t enabled for search engines?

    Or is it always a server issue?
