Jetpack tiled gallery not showing | WordPress.org

So I activated galleries in JetPack and turned it on in the media settings but my posts are still not showing as a gallery.

I’m using the Arcade theme and this, according to the theme documents, uses jetpack for the gallery feature.

Following advice from various other threads, I have deactivated all plugins to see if one of them is causing interference with the gallery function but that’s not the case.

Can anyone assist in fixing this issue?

The JetPack tiles gallery is specifically for gallerias of images within posts or pages, and not to make your posts appear in a masonry layout.

If that’s what you’re after, try and take a look at JetPack masonry and follow along with that documentation.

Here’s a tutorial I’ve followed in the past with great success.

The masonry layout is not what I’m after. I took some images that I want to include in a post as a gallery. I’ve also been to the first link pasted and didn’t find it to be much help.

How are you attempting to insert your gallery? What steps are you taking?

*light bulb* I figured it out! So what I had done was insert the pictures individually into the post without creating a gallery. I thought once I clicked on the gallery option under post formats it would automatically apply.
