I think there is nothing on the other side of that click. My Firefox error screen looks awesome though.
I think it’s http://ThursdayAt6pm.com – no S.
If that’s the case, it’s a nice clean site. One thing, though – your subscribe form in the sidebar overlaps the content div – you’ll want to shorten that a bit.
first off – sorry about posting the incorrect url. you are right RoseCitySister – it is http://www.ThursdayAt6pm.com . thanks for posting the correct link.
I removed the subscribe box from where it was. i was unable to respace it and I am not sure how to add the extra space needed so it will not overlap the division line. The subscribe2 plug in give you the sidebar widget, but no way to edit it that i can see.
Also, can you please take a look in IE. The additional navigation buttons seem to be gone, or moved and it looks different then it does in IE to me?? Not sure why. what do you see?
Thanks!
Afraid I don’t have IE – I use Mac, and usually use browsershots.org to view in IE.
You can adjust the width of the subscribe box by editing the plugin file – look for this code:
<input type="text" name="email" value="" size="20" />
and change the size=”20″ to size=”18″ or whatever, to get it to fit. I usually have IDs or classes on inputs so I can use CSS to style them. If you need help with this I’ll be happy to help you.
RoseCitySister – thanks. I think I fixed those spacing issues.
I love this Simpleton theme but I have found an error/problem that I can not fix. Can anyone PLEASE help? Maybe one of the moderators?
Take a look at http://www.thursdayat6pm.com in FireFox and then in IE.
the navigation links (Home, About TA6pm, About ISES, Pictures,
Contact) are to the left where they should be in FF, but not in IE. In
IE they are WAY over to the right and not seen at all behind the other
images.
WHAT IS going on?? Most people still use IE so i can not launch the
site until this is somehow fixed.
Can anyone help please with your theme asap please.
In mystyle.css, try putting text-align: left for #nav.
Wish I could help more. I’m much better at troubleshooting the themes that I write, not someone else’s! 🙁
actually I was able to fix it with the help of the template creator who was GREAT and quickly emailed me back. It was a combination of making some changes in mystyle as you mentioned and adding a few
tags in the header template.
THANK YOU ROSE for your ongoing help.
🙂
