thumbnails – which plugin to use?

    what’s the best (easiest?) plugin for putting thumbnails on pages? Under Media, I see 61 available plugins. I have a Mac G4 with OS X. I want to use my own photos and have thumbnails at the ends of a post with more pictures. I’m writing about rock climbing in Italy, France, Spain, so only interested potential visitors might want to see all the photos.
