Thumbnails get directed to homepage

    hi,

    I am using next gen free version but i am finding it hard to show a gallery on my site. here is the site http://baptheatre.com/g/

    It only shows the thumbs and when i click on any of the thumb it directs me to the homepage of my site than the subsequent gallery page. Also when a i upload new images they do not show up in the respective gallery at the back-end.

    Can you help with this?

    @fasih5 – Although it appears some of your albums do not have their preview image set I am not having any issues navigation through them to the gallery and then to the Lightbox as is. Are you still seeing the issue on your site?

    Can anyone help me to figure this broken layout http://baptheatre.com/g/ built with nextgen gallery.

    yes the images inside the gallery are working fine and even the light box. I have set the preview images and tried changing it over and over again but still the preview thumbs are not available for few galleries.

    I think the problem is Nextgen is not creating dynamic images which is the http source for preview thumb, i tried this on my local server and found that whenever i set a preview image, NEXTGEN creates thumb for that image in the respective gallery folder with a folder named as “dynamic” and it is not creating that folder on live site. i am using EXTRA theme by eleganttheme.

    can you help with that?

    @fasih5 – Have you checked to insure your folder and file permissions are correctly being inherited from the /wp-content/ folder for your gallery folders and files? They should be inheriting 0755 and 0644 respectively for folders and files.

    How can i do that?

    The albums which are not showing do not have the dynamic folder. the source from where i copied the galleries folder did have the “dynamic” folder either.

    Please let me know ho to ensure the inheritance?
