This plugin is not very Intuitive ….

I really did make a substantial effort to understand the basics before I had to do it by trial and error. Like exactly what is the relationship between “layers” and “markers” – I simply couldn’t find any information.

Having figured it out, I now have a layer with two markers. When I display the layer in my page, I get the map and the two markers expanded below.

However, I am unable to locate the markers on the map – there isn’t anything clickable on the expanded markers. Obviously I have missed something fundamental. Please help me out here.
