Is there a way to add "Save Image As..." or maybe a download link to the thickbox version of the big images when you open them up? We want to be able to give users the ability to save the photo to their computers.

You can with Lightbox. You click the image and it opens in the lightbox effect then you can click on the caption to download the image. Provided you fill in the info for the Alt & Title Text / Description.

Lately I've been recommending the following :

I use jQuery Lightbox (balupton edition).

Make sure in Gallery->Options->Effects had the following setting :

    JavaScript Thumbnail effect: Lightbox

    Link Code line: rel="lightbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]"

    You'll see the download.

After the plugin has been installed you find jQuery Lightbox in the setting section of the admin bar.

You can try my site : http://www.doublesixx.com

    Good luck.

Unfortunately I already have it set to Lightbox. There still isn't a way to right click on it and save image.

You can see one of my pages here:

Sorry, I guess I was using Lightbox all along, and not Thickbox.

Yeah you had me confused in the begging.

The info I posted will do what you want. I have it that way on my site. You can try it out if you want.

When the picture appears you can click the caption to download the picture.

Thank you for this. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. This is exactly what I needed. I'll try and add "Click the Title to Download the Image" underneath so people know. I'm sure I can find that in the PHP settings somewhere.

PS - Nice site! I love me some Munn too!

    Thanx !

If you wanted to alter the message on the picture like my site you'll need to edit : jquery.lightbox.min.js

    Good luck.
