Theme update

Hello, I have an old version of oceanwp (1.8.6) installed on my wordpress site. When I update the theme (which I only modified with the Code Snippet plugin) the site becomes inaccessible and is unusable. Can I safely keep this old version of the theme? Or do I have to make sure to update it bug-free?

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing changes.

Bonjour, j’ai une ancienne version d’oceanwp (1.8.6) d’installé sur mon site wordpress. Lorsque je met à jour le thème (que je ai seulement modifié avec le plugin Code Snippet) le site devient innacessible et est inutilisable. Puis-je garder en toute sécurité cette ancienne version du thème ? Ou je dois faire en sorte de la mettre à jour sans bug ?

J’ai déjà testé de le désinstaller et de le réinstaller mais rien ne change.

Hello,

Please let us know what exact issue are you facing with the update? If possible share the snapshots of the issues.

and go to Elementor > System Info and share the report with us so that we can take a look.
