[Theme: Twenty Fourteen] Remove top margin and lessen left menu bar

    Hi there,
    I am trying to remove the top margin (the white area below the top menu bar from all my pages). I managed to lessen the left margin by pasting some CSS code I found, now I want to do the same with the top margin.

    Also, how can I make the left-hand menu thinner (i.e. not as wide) so that the page content is even more to the left-hand side of the screen?
