Theme Suggestions?

I am very new to having a website and I am looking for some help. I bought a domain in order to display my artwork and I am trying to find the right theme to do it. A friend helped me set up a page with b2evolution, and now I am trying one with WordPress to see what I like better. Currently I am leaning more towards WordPress.

What I want to do is have a static front page, I will put a banner I have drawn and under that some text about me and maybe a list of my recent posts.

Another page will be a gallery of my work and I will put comments on what I did, and ask for comments from visitors to the site.

I also want three more pages for About Me, Contact Form, and Links.

So that is what I want to do, but I have no idea what I am doing. I have looked through the codex which helped me set up my current site, but I am to the point now of finding a theme that will support what I am looking for. Do you guys have any suggestions? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated and I know I am asking for a lot.
