Theme suddenly stopped working

    Have been playing with evolve for a couple of days now and it stopped working all together. When switching to other themes WP appears to function, correctly however,evolve just displays the bg image with a top bar and nothing else.

    I’ve done a complete fresh install of WordPress and Evolve, still nothing.

    I have the same problem after today’s update. Changed to other theme and it worked normally

    does anyone have a link to the previous version? I assume you can switch-off auto updates?

    can someone enable wp debug mode https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG and send a feedback here so we can see what’s causing the issue. thanks

    Any word on when update will be approved? My site is still down.

    You should be able to click on that link and it will download to your computer. First, use FTP or Cpanel (via your hosting) to manually deactivate the old theme folder here:

    wp-content
    themes
       evolve.HOLD

    Then you should be able to upload/install the new one from your computer via the Dashboard.

    It’s fixed with 3.2.2. Delete the theme dir, Download the zip, install from zip from the dashboard and boom! All sorted..

    Site back up now but still having problems with the front page content boxes. Once I changed the colour they disappeared altogether.

    Why doesn’t the dashboard automatically detect an update so we don’t have to “delete this” “download that” plus , before an update is released it would be a great idea to try the update on YOUR site. I love this theme and until now I have had no complaints. Down time = lost subscribers.
    Fix this and I will recommend your theme until the end of time.

    Hi. This problem has also affected me. I’m not sure of the host of our website as it was created by someone else. How long until the update is released properly because currently my site’s just showing a blank page.

    Isn’t deleting the theme directory going to make me have to redo a bunch of things?
    Where and how do I “(via your hosting) to manually deactivate the old theme folder here:”

    I am relatively new to this , as I think others are as well, a little more explanation would go a long way.
