Theme settings translation

    Hello, first of all i’m not sure if what i ask is even a feature that polylang have, i know that WPML have, but i will prefer use polylang.

    In the link above, you can see in WPML Setup -> WPML String Translation

    In the first image there is the point that interest me, that allow me to tranlate in multiple language the field i fill in my theme custom settings.

    But i cant find it in polylang.

    So does polylang support it ?

    Hello

    Yes if you mean by “my theme custom settings” your theme or plugin options.

    You can translate your theme/plugins options with a wmpl-config.xml.

    Hello and thanks for the help, i found the artivla myself after a while.

    But my file is empty, did i have to fill it myself ?
    Because it’s really a lot, a ton actually of strings !
    Did not WPML fill this file himself ?

    You should ask to your theme author why the file wpml-config.xml is empty. It should contain the theme options.

    Thanks for the help Chrystl, was not sure if it was my part of the job or not, since the author say it’s a WPML ready theme.
