Hi,
How can I help you without seeing page of your website?
It can be a better idea to install custom css plugin to change css of your theme.

Ooops sorry. Its offline at the moment while I’m building, but can be seen at
http://newsite.aurorahouse.com.au/website
This theme has options> styling – including a custom CSS, but I’d need to know the code to use for changing the page colour.
Hi,
Please put
body {
background-color:#ff0;
}
Here I have used a basic color for test, Please change color code as you wish.

Thank you so much navitdude. It works a treat – the custom CSS is excellent.
Now have another problem but will have to start a new thread for that…

As that’s a commercial theme have you considered contacting the commercial theme provider?

Commercial themes (yes, it cost you nothing to download it but it’s still commercial) are not supported here. Aside from generic CSS replies (BTW not using a child theme will cause problems for you later on) there’s not much we can support here.

Thanks for your input Jan. I will contact them, although I can and have changed the colour of the widget boxes, and that has minimised the severe white of the pages.

Hi Navitdude. It was removing the date box from the list of custom posts – fixed it with custom css.
The css for the page background didnt work, but not too concerned at the moment as have changed other colours instead.
Thanks
