    Dear WordPress,

I’m quite new with this so this question might be stupid
but i didn’t figure it out.

I work with Direct Admin and when i want to upload the file into the right folder (themes) it just don’t seem to work.

The file is unzipped and has a .zip extension but when i unzip it it’s a map. So i can’t select the map to upload but i have to select every single file. But that doesn’t seems to work neither (error in presentation menu).

So i need the anwser to how i get the file(s) of the theme correct in that folder.

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings (Sorry for the English)

  • No. Your link above is this:

    http://195.207.15.76:2222/CMD_FILE_MANAGER/domains/saroverhees.be/public_html/test/test.htm

that is accesssible to you because you are logged in. Thats a password protected area that goes to your hosts control panel. Thats NOT accessible to anyone but you.

Once again, you need to look at what you do.

Does this link works for you?

Yes, it does. I am homeycomb, the one that corrected it earlier.

Again, since it works, there is nothing wrong with your ability to use an ftp client, OR create directories.

Im not sure where this thread is going anymore.

What IS the problem you are having?

The problem IS that my FTP does NOT work. I know i am having folders but when i connect they do NOT show up. I use the CORRECT password, host, port, username.

As you see on the screen. That’ss what i get. I contact my provider but he would not know what ever the problem would be.

    Greetz.

I FINALLY have my file shown up.

[Quote]If it says Could not retrieve directory listing you may need to change the Advanced setting for your connection in Site Manager, so that Passive transfer mode setting is set to Use passive mode.[Quote]

I had to put it on Active mode,

But i’m glad that it’s solved.

Thanks HomeyComb ang gangleri, for your willing to help.

Should I feel slighted here for actually spelling out a test step by step? 🙂
