Registration Confirmation Email

I currently need some help with my WordPress website. I am using a theme known as “Auction Theme” developed by Premium Press. On the website I have a registration form. However I would like it so that once you register, a confirmation email is sent to your account and you need to click on the link in order to activate your account. Furthermore, some plugins do not seem to work with this theme. Any help is great 😀
