I’m having this problem, too. When I try to re-install the plugins, it says they’re already installed. When I look into the plugin folder under wp-content, there’s nothing there… I’m totally confused!
Anyone? This is really a hindrance to running my site. I can’t even track traffic at the moment because Jetpack is also affected.
@juliebozza: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.
@mleiggi: Have you tried:
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Thanks for the reply, Esmi. I did change the theme with no success. But I did discover that I can only have one theme, and it won’t let me look at any of the others I had downloaded.
I will try both FTP and PhpMyAdmin when I get home from work and can download things. Hopefully one of them will be successful. I’ll keep you posted.
I couldn’t get FileZilla to connect to my site, and PhpMyAdmin would not upload to my site. I fully I could have done something wrong, but I did try to follow the forum walk throughs.
Do you have any other suggestions, or what I could be doing wrong?
