• I got an email from mailpoet telling me that there were errors in my DNS, this after years of perfect performance. So I look at their required setup and I looked at my setup and my setup was precisely their setup. I did notice one very small difference and modified it to match their required change. One. And when I click verify, I get “…may take 24 hours…” If they can verify our DNS settings, why can’t they also send us the specific change to make to the one small issue, rather than rewrite the entire DNS stack? ‘Cuz I already suspect that the solution isn’t the solution. I edited DMARC1 to match MPoet to this: v=DMARC1; p=none

The original was on my server was v=DMARC1; p=none; aspf=r; adkim=r; and when I clicked “verify” for this change: v=DMARC1; p=none, I got back that I needed this v=DMARC1; p=none; aspf=r; adkim=r; which is what I had for years. So I’m stumped. A subscriber did email me and forwarded the “might be spam” warning he received with my last post. Odd that suddenly after years os reliable action, a “problem” is discovered?? I do not get it. Maybe a way to drive MPoet users to shell out money for actual service?

    Hi @trinity7,

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing those details. If things have been working smoothly for a long time, the email you have received may refer to an old/second account where your domain was once added to.

We’d be happy to take a closer look at what’s going on. To do that, could you share the domain (website address) associated with your MailPoet account? That way we can check your DNS records and sending status on our end and give you more specific guidance.

Looking forward to helping you sort this out!
