I’m new to UpdraftPlus, so maybe I’m doing something wrong- but when I click on the “backup now” and little screen appears I only get three options to check, there is no actual button that will start the backup. Not sure how to fix it… Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

Try de-activating other plugins and your theme – presumably one of them is loading something onto UpdraftPlus’s page, which is hiding the button.

It seems like this would defeat the purpose of having this plugin- if I need to deactivate everything to make it work, sorry maybe I’m just not getting it… Thanks for responding though David 🙂

    Hi,

WordPress is co-operative. If another plugin or theme wants to (or more likely, is mis-programmed to accidentally) get involved and remove things from other plugins’ pages, then you can’t stop it from doing so. That’s what gives WP its power – anything can do anything; it’s also annoying when things do things they shouldn’t.
