Text Widget Edits Not Working

    Hi,
    Something is going VERY WRONG with my text widgets:

    1) When I create a NEW text widget, the text disappears from the widget. (And yes, I did save it after entering it.) The text is visible on the Widgets page in wordpress as long as I stay on that page… but when I move away from that page and come back to it, the text is completely blank.. although the widget is still there. Nothing shows up at all on my site except a blank space where the widget is supposed to appear.

    2) When I try to change existing text in my existing text widgets, the changes don’t “take” at all.

    Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    Hey – that worked. Appears to be a theme related problem. I will follow up there. Thanks!
