1. Enable PayPal
2. Add something to your cart
3. Go through checkout and select PayPal as your payment method
4. Submit the purchase and go to PayPal
5. Click on the “Cancel” link on PayPal.

Any update to the reply:
Just received work that cancelling a payment from PayPal is supposed to mark the purchase as failed. It’s a known bug and is currently logged to fix.
It would be good; if somebody decided to cancel when they got to PayPal that it was marked as cancelled and not failed…

Using EDD 2.0.
I have just cancelled a couple of test purchases on http://www.sandbox.paypal.com
EDD Downloads – Payment History shows these as failed and not abandoned.
Question as above – does this work for sandbox test purchases?
That’s correct. When cancelling, they should be marked as failed.
And what about live purchases if cancelled, how do they show up?
